Okay I still do not understand why I am paying if this is a legit job, can you give me an example?"Working with ColleagueUs LLC, is an opportunity for you to be an independent Contractor with a company that has done all of the heavy lifting for you. They have already formed the relationships with the Fortune 500 companies and secured the requested positions, and all you have to do is provide basics that most people already have: equipment that meets the minimum standards, have a stable internet connection, pay for the certification for the client you are interested in servicing (some as low as $0), and perform based on their standards. For those who go in with the idea that Arise is a work-from-home “job”, it’s understandable they would call it a scam, since you don't risk your money with a traditional "job". But… you are NOT a ColleagueUs LLC nor Arise employee. You are an independent contractor. This is an opportunity, not a job. As a contractor, you are responsible for your own costs (including equipment and training). Joining Arise is likened to purchasing a small franchise. They (Arise) provides you with the courses, the software and central support, and the marketing (a network of clients)….and you must pay for it, but it can all be claimed on your taxes as costs associated with running your own business. So, Arise is 100% legit.
-

Am I paid while I train for my Certification?Arise does not compensate for the time spent in an Arise client certification course as it considers the knowledge obtained while attending the certification course will contribute in making your business successful. You are Self Employed and you are responsible to obtain the specialized skills that are needed in order to provide the appropriate services to the client that you choose. **Think of it like a college course, you pay for the class to gain knowledge and once you receive your certification/degree, then you move on to get paid for the time you've invested. ***Some certification courses allow you to get paid while you learn!
